The ATW Grafham Water event is a trail run that circumnavigates Grafham Water reservoir. Distances offered:
- 10 mile trail run
The route starts on the dam and follows trails around the reservoir, passing the Woodland Nature Reserve, Dragonfly Pond and Sanctuary Bay, and finishes with the final mile along the length of the dam wall. The event takes place at Grafham Water Visitor Centre, PE28 0BH.
Practical information
A Canicross option runs in a separate wave before the runners. Dogs must use a recognised dog harness and be kept on leads at all times. Dog bowls will be available at water stations and dog treats will be provided at the finish. Camping at Lakeview Paddock and dormitory style accommodation at Grafham Water centre are available the night before the event.
ATW is the event organiser; the company was established in 2011 and runs national events in the UK across running, triathlon and other multisport formats. The event partners with a charity, Alzheimer’s Research UK, with opportunities to donate or fundraise at checkout. Car parking is available at the venue with a fee payable at ticket machines. ATW does not offer refunds or transfers to another person but allows entry transfers to future ATW events up to 48 hours before the event.
