Event
The Gopherdillo Trail Run takes place on Saturday, February 7, 2026, at Lake Manatee State Park in Bradenton, Florida (20007 FL-64, Bradenton, FL 34212). The event offers two race distances:
- 5K
- 10K
Both races use separate routes with no loops. All finishers receive a finisher medal.
Course
The courses run on a mix of sand, grass, and paved roads through Lake Manatee State Park. The route passes lake views and areas of native vegetation. Local wildlife noted for the area includes armadillos, gopher tortoises, and various native birds.
Logistics
Registration prices listed are $45 for the 5K and $60 for the 10K; prices increase after January 26, 2026 at 11:59pm EST. Park entry fees are included in registration; registrants must show confirmation at the park gate. Spectators are required to pay state park fees. The organizer requests participants carpool if possible.
Shirts are provided in a performance men’s cut; a performance long sleeve shirt is available as an upgrade for an additional fee.

- February 6: New Balance, 315 N Cattlemen Rd, Sarasota, FL, 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm
- February 7 (race day): packet pickup available 6:30 am to 7:30 am
