Course and logistics

The course follows a former railroad bed converted to trail, with fine mesh gravel and generally flat, runnable terrain. The route winds southeast through woodlands, rural areas, the community of Mashburn, and ends near Englewood. The course is marathon certified (TN25001MS). Two staffed aid stations are listed: one at the start/finish and one at the turnaround in Englewood. Pacers are allowed for the 55k after the first lap; pacers may use aid station supplies. The 11 mile ruck division requires weighed packs with specified minimums: men 30 lb, women 15 lb, boys under 15 20 lb, girls under 15 10 lb. A weigh-in is required before the event for ruck competitors and finishers receive a patch. Refunds are not offered. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
