Garryduff Woods race takes place in Rochestown Woods, County Cork, located to the south-east of Cork City. The long course is 6.50 km with approximately 200 m of climb. The route is fully marked and GPS use is allowed.

The course includes technical sections, climbing and single-track paths. The organiser rates the course as easy terrain. Route marking and on-course information will be provided on the day.

All runners must bring mandatory Level B kit: waterproof jacket, hat or buff, gloves, whistle, a charged mobile phone with an emergency number stored, and a foil blanket, bivvy bag or equivalent. The specific kit to be carried during the race will be finalised on the day and advised at Registration. Runners should have the means to carry the kit. Random kit checks may be carried out and lack of required items may lead to denial of entry or disqualification.

Entries open 4 October 2026 and close 10 October 2026. Entry fee is €7 for seniors and €5 for over‑65s and under‑18s. The event has an entry limit of 250.

Parking is limited and parking is not available at Garryduff Sports Centre. Suggested parking locations include the Rochestown Inn car park, Upper Belmont Avenue or Upper Kensington. Do not park in the lane leading to the woods; the lane must remain clear. Car pooling is recommended where possible.

The event is part of the Coillte Summer/Autumn Trail League, Munster. Volunteers are required to support the race; two non-running volunteer roles in a calendar year are needed to qualify for the end-of-year prize. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
