Frosty Looper is an 8-hour timed running event on Sunday, December 14, 2025, held at Cooper River Park in Pennsauken, NJ. Registration fees change by date: $90 until 6/1/25, $100 until 10/1/25, and $110 thereafter until registration closes. There are no refunds; voluntary deferrals are allowed through 11/14/25. All finishers receive a custom race item; there is no event medal. Awards are given to the top three female and top three male finishers. A special 2025 Fire & Ice Challenge medal is available to participants who run both Loopy Looper and Frosty Looper.
Course and logistics
The course is a paved loop of about 3.75 miles around a river with views of the Philadelphia skyline and the water. The loop is mostly flat with some gradual incline and two more pronounced hills. Runners have an eight-hour window to complete whole laps; partial laps do not count and all laps must be completed before the event end.
There is a single aid area at the start/finish with food made to order, snacks, soup, hot water, and hydration. The event is cupless, so participants should bring a reusable cup, bottle, or hydration pack. A drop/pit area is provided near the stadium; tents should not exceed 10x10 and no tent stakes are allowed. Packet pickup is available the day before at South Jersey RunningCo in Haddonfield or on race morning at the venue.
