Frosty Looper

Event overview

Frosty Looper is an 8-hour timed event on Sunday, December 14, 2025, at Cooper River Park, 1301 North Park Drive, Pennsauken, NJ. The event uses a looped course with views of the Philadelphia skyline and the lake.

Course and rules

The course is a 3.75 miles loop, fully paved with about 100 m of rubber track. The route is mostly flat with some gradual incline and two notable hills. Runners may complete as many laps as they wish within the eight-hour race period. Partial laps are not counted. No new laps are allowed during the final 30 minutes of the race and all laps must be finished before the race end.

Logistics, aid and policies

There is a single aid station at the start/finish area; there are no mid-course aid stations. The start/finish area includes a drop/pit area for personal gear. Food at the aid station may be made to order; other offerings include snacks, soup, quesadillas, hot water, and Tailwind Nutrition as the official drink. The event is cupless; participants should bring a reusable cup, bladder, or bottle. Tent limit is 10x10, no tent stakes allowed, and tents should be weighed down.

Packet pickup options include a Saturday pickup at South Jersey RunningCo in Haddonfield and on-site pickup on race day. All entrants receive a custom race item; there is no event medal. Awards are given to the top three female and top three male finishers. The event does not offer refunds; voluntary deferrals are allowed until 11/14/25 and a canceled event will result in deferral to the following year.
