Frick Park Orienteering Scavenger Hunt

This event is an orienteering style scavenger hunt held in Frick Park. There is no set course; participants find a series of checkpoints placed around the park and navigate between them using a map or other allowed aids.

Participants may choose between two checkpoint options. The 10 checkpoint option is described as beginner friendly. The 20 checkpoint option is intended for those returning from previous events or those familiar with orienteering.

Phones are permitted on course to make the event more accessible, while noting that phones are typically restricted in standard orienteering events. Weekly post race pop ups are planned on Reynolds Street and will include pizza from 77 Club and offerings from Two Frays Brewing.

Photos from July 2024 are available to give a visual sense of the course layout and atmosphere. The event is presented as a flexible format without a fixed route, emphasizing navigation and route choice within the park setting. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
