Fort Ord Trail Run
Fort Ord Trail Run is a two-day trail running event at Fort Ord National Monument and Laguna Seca Recreation Area near Salinas, CA. The event is organized by Inside Trail Racing under a Special Recreation Permit issued by the Bureau of Land Management.

- 50K
- 25K
- 10K
The 50K race takes place on the first day and the 25K and 10K on the second day. The 50K has an 8.5 hour time limit. Parking is available within Laguna Seca for a $5 fee; carpooling is encouraged. Timing and aid station tracking are provided by ultralive.net with a small timing fee added to entries.
Aid stations will provide energy gels, chews, trail mix, chips, cookies, cola, sports hydration mix, sandwiches, fruit, and general first aid items; no anti-inflammatory medicine will be provided. The event is cupless; runners must carry their own water bottle or reusable cup and are encouraged to carry at least one 20 oz bottle.
Finishers receive event medals; the top three overall male and female finishers in each distance receive custom trophies. All 50K finishers receive a pint glass. Age-group medals are awarded three deep across standard age categories. Race shirts are tri-blend performance tees; registration by January 21, 2027 is required to guarantee size.
