Courses are marked with colored ribbon, laminated signs, and ground arrows; blue ribbons indicate wrong-way trails.

Aid stations supply a range of foods and drinks such as energy gels, Stroopwafels, trail mix, chips, PB&J, Coke, Ginger Ale, water, and Skratch Labs hydration mix. Runners are encouraged to carry at least one 20 oz bottle. This is a cupless event; runners must carry their own bottle or reusable cup (HydraPak cups available for purchase for $5). Parking near the Start/Finish is available for a $5 fee. The 50K distance has an 8.5 hour time limit. Awards include overall trophies, age-group medals, finishers medals, 50K pint glasses, and a Dead Last Finisher award. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
