Foothills 10 Mile Run and 5K Run Hike - November 9, 2025

The event is a trail running event in Albuquerque, New Mexico. It takes place in the foothills near the Sandia Mountains and moves through high desert terrain and the Rio Grande Valley. The course goes through Elena Gallegos Open Space and Cibola National Forest. The start elevation is approximately 6,500 feet. The route includes single-track trail sections and varied terrain.

Logistics and included items

Registration closes on November 9 at 11:59 PM MT. The event offers two parking areas with free shuttle bus service to and from the race staging area. A large heated area is provided at the staging point. Participants receive long-sleeve technical race shirts and free race photos from Lobo Photo New Mexico. Post-race food and drinks include New Mexico breakfast burritos, locally brewed root beer from Canteen Brewing, coffee, and other refreshments.
