Logistics include a shuttle from the finish at Jackson Stables to the start at the Thousand Hills State Park Marina; runners who arrive for shuttle boarding by the listed time are guaranteed a spot. Packet pickup is offered the day before at the ATSU Thompson Campus Center and again race morning at the Marina. One gear drop bag per runner is transported from the start to the finish.
Awards include cash prizes for top overall female, male, and nonbinary finishers and a course record bonus. Age group awards are given to the top three in each age bracket, and finishers receive commemorative items. The event offers nonbinary registration with equal podiums and prize money and participates in inclusivity measures such as the Trail Mix Fund partnership and Trail Sisters Approved Standards.
