Finish the Race 5K and Fun Run takes place on Saturday, March 28, 2026, at Ruby Grant Park in Norman, OK (3110 W Franklin Rd, Norman, OK 73072). The event includes the following distances:

  • 5K Run
  • 1 Mile Fun Run
  • Kids Dash (8 & under)

Registration fees listed are $30 for the 5K and $20 for the 1 Mile Fun Run. Registration opens January 1, 2026. The event is presented by BBC Norman. Proceeds support sending children to Camp Unite.

Course, logistics and awards

The course is a trail route through a community park. It is described as mostly flat with a few gentle hills and surfaces of grass, sidewalk, and some gravel. Official timing chips are provided for 5K and 1-Mile participants. All participants receive a custom race bib and a finisher gift. A race shirt is available as an add-on for $10; any remaining shirts may be sold on race day while supplies last.

Awards will be given to the overall top three male and female finishers and to the top male and female finisher in each age division for the 5K. Parking is available on the west side of Ruby Grant Park off 36th Ave near Franklin Road. Restrooms are located in the main parking lot.
