Field N Dale 6K & 12K Trail Run Panorama Vista Preserve

Field N Dale 6K & 12K Trail Run takes place on February 28, 2026, at the Panorama Vista Preserve in Bakersfield, California. The event is chip timed and offers two measured trail distances that use different terrain and alignments within the preserve.

The Panorama Vista Preserve spans both sides of the Kern River and is managed as private land held in trust for the public by a local nonprofit. The preserve includes re-vegetation projects and areas intended for gentle public use. Landmarks around the preserve include Oildale to the west, Gordon's Ferry to the east, the Beardsley Canal and oil fields to the north, and the Panorama Bluffs to the south.

The event provides event shirts, a finisher medal, post race raffles, and a free post race pancakes breakfast sponsored by the Boy Scouts of America. Age group awards are hand made and awarded to the top three finishers in each age group.
