15th Annual FBRTC 5K Trail Race and Walk

The FBRTC 5K Trail Race and Walk takes place in Franklin, Massachusetts, and is held on the Southern New England Trunkline Trail (SNETT). This event supports ongoing efforts to develop the trail into a multi-use path connecting the towns of Franklin and Bellingham.

The SNETT is an abandoned rail bed that stretches from Franklin through Douglas to the Connecticut border. Specific sections of this trail have been transformed into fully developed multi-use paths that link various communities throughout southern Central Massachusetts. The course utilizes these sections of the rail trail for the 5k distance.

Participants have the option to engage in the following distance:

  • 5 km trail run or walk

The event starts and finishes near Grove Street in Franklin. Registration is required for participation, and the fees contribute to the development of the trail infrastructure in the local area. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
