Fall Creek 100

Pikeville, United States • 21-22 Nov 2026

Fall Creek 100 takes place in Fall Creek Falls, one of the largest and most visited parks in Tennessee. The course visits multiple overlooks and waterfalls, crosses suspension bridges over Cane Creek Falls and Piney Creek Falls, and runs about four miles along the shoreline of Fall Creek Falls Lake.

Course terrain is mainly pine forest with mossy, fern-lined tracks and bridges. The organizer describes the trails as mild for the region with fewer rocks and roots than typical, allowing relatively fast running for a trail event.

Distances offered:

  • 50k - 3,100 ft of climbing
  • 100k - 6,200 ft of climbing
  • 100 mile - 11,500 ft of climbing

On-course rules and services include no on-course cutoffs for 50k and 100k races; the 100 mile race has on-course cutoffs beginning at mile 66.7. Drop bags are held at the Start/Finish area or the Nature Center aid station. Crew may access the Start/Finish, Upper Trailhead, and Gilbert Gaul locations; attendees are asked to park respectfully at all locations. Pacers are allowed for 100 mile runners starting at mile 48.5 (Nature Center) and may only enter or exit at specified locations; one pacer at a time and pacers must not carry items for the runner. Runners who complete at least two loops in the 100 mile race may choose to drop down instead of being recorded as a DNF; the time of drop is recorded as the finish time.

Awards include layered steel flame-torched finisher pieces, transparent blue epoxy waterfalls for 50k and 100k, and gold/silver/bronze transparent epoxy podium awards. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
