  • 11km - loop starting at Eungella Dam Road, mixed terrain.
  • 18km - remote run with 590 m elevation and two river crossings.

Course and logistics

All courses are 100% off-road on mixed and uneven terrain with climbs and descents. The 11 km and 18 km courses require mandatory gear to be carried for the duration of the run, including two compression bandages, a fully charged phone, a whistle, and the timing chip. The course will be marked with pink tape, signage and arrows. One water station will be available on course but supplies are limited; competitors are advised to carry sufficient water. Toilets are not available at the start/finish; the nearest public toilets are at the top of Eungella Range (Cricket Ground) and Broken River Day Use Area. Parking is along the road; competitors are asked to park as far left as possible.

Safety, awards and series points

Trails include remote single track and local wildlife; competitors must report to an event official if they do not finish. Unreturned timing chips incur a $50 fee. Top three male and female finishers and junior winners receive prizes and presentations. The event contributes points to the five-event series; points are awarded by placing and calculated separately for men and women. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
