Finch Hatton Flowing Trails

Finch Hatton Flowing Trails is Event 4 of a five part Trail Run Series held at the Finch Hatton MTB Trails in Mackay's Pioneer Valley on Sunday 19 July 2026. The event uses the mountain bike park for trail running once a year and follows a mix of MTB trails and fire roads.

• 6 km
• 12 km
• 18 km

All runners complete a common first loop and then continue onto additional loops for the mid and long courses. Competitors exit the trail every 6 km at the trail head and pass the start and finish line on each lap. The course is described as spectator friendly and is clearly marked with signage, arrows and caution tape. Marshals, a safety vehicle and first aid support are provided on course.

Mandatory items are required for all distances and must be carried for the duration of the run. A single water station and toilet facilities are available at the start and finish area, which is accessible each lap. Race rules include wearing the race bib on the front, staying on the marked track, and selecting an appropriate distance for personal fitness.
