Earth Day Buckle Mania

Earth Day Buckle Mania is a multi-day endurance event held April 23 to 25, 2027, at 1943 Indy Road in Abilene, KS. The event offers 12 hour, 24 hour, and 48 hour race options run on a certified paved loop.

The course is a 1.8228 mile certified paved loop that runs mostly through shaded areas of a private park. Runners earn a buckle each time they reach the following distances; a single runner may earn multiple buckles, up to six in total.

All entrants receive a tri blend shirt. Buckles are awarded for each of the distances listed. Top female and top male finishers in each race receive awards. Lodging for the runner only is included in the entry fee and includes heated showers. Cabins, heated buildings, and RV hook ups are available; the race director handles rates for crew and family.

Pacers are permitted after 12 hours. Muling is not allowed. Deferral requests must be made up to 30 days before the event and are valid for one year only.
