Earth Day Buckle Mania is scheduled for April 24-26, 2026 in Abilene, KS. The event offers 48-hour, 24-hour, and 12-hour race options. Registration closes April 21. Course, facilities and awards

Races take place on a certified paved loop of 1.8228 miles in a private park. The loop is described as mostly shaded. Lodging for the runner is included in the entry fee and is provided free for the runner only; heated showers are available. There are cabins, heated buildings, and RV hook-ups, with rates available for crew and family.

All runners receive a tri-blend shirt; registering by April 5, 2026 guarantees a shirt. Buckles are awarded each time a runner reaches the listed distances, allowing a participant to earn up to six buckles:

  • 150 Mile
  • 200 Mile
