Earth Day Buckle Mania

Earth Day Buckle Mania is a multi-day ultrarunning event scheduled for April 23 to 25, 2027 in Abilene, KS at 1943 Indy Road. The event offers 12 hour, 24 hour, and 48 hour race formats that take place on a certified 1.8228 mile paved loop through a mostly shaded private park.

Buckles are awarded at specified distances as runners reach them. Multiple buckles can be earned during the event. The buckle distances are listed below.

Lodging for the runner is included in the entry fee and is provided free for the registered runner only. Facilities include heated showers, cabins, heated buildings, and RV hook ups. Rates for crew and family are available from the race organizers.

Pacers are permitted after 12 hours. Muling is not allowed. Deferral requests must be made up to 30 days before the event and are valid for one year only. All runners receive a tri blend shirt. In addition to buckle awards, top female and top male in each race receive overall awards. Registration closes on Tue, Apr 20 at 11:59 PM CT.
