Races

The event offers timed ultramarathon options of 12 hours, 24 hours, and 48 hours. All distances are run on a single 1.8228-mile certified paved loop located in a private park.

Course

The course is a 1.8228-mile certified paved loop. It is described as mostly shaded and runs through a beautiful private park. Runners can earn a commemorative buckle for each major distance milestone they achieve during their timed run. The buckle distances are: 50K, 50 Mile, 100K, 100 Mile, 150 Mile, and 200 Mile.

Lodging

Lodging at the event site is free for the registered runner and is included in the entry fee. Heated showers are available. Separate rates for crew and family are available for cabins, heated buildings, and RV hookups.

Pacers

Pacers are permitted, but only after the first 12 hours of a runner's race. The practice of "muling" (carrying a runner's gear) is not allowed.

Deferral Policy

Deferrals of registration must be requested at least 30 days prior to the event. A deferred entry is valid for one year only.

Awards

In addition to the distance buckles, top female and top male runners in each timed race will receive an overall award. Every runner receives a tri-blend shirt.

The Iron Will 100 in Kansas features ultra distances on a flat, shaded river trail. Choose from 100 miles, 50 miles, 50K, or a 36-hour format. All finishers earn a commemorative buckle.
