Earth Day Buckle Mania

Earth Day Buckle Mania takes place April 24 to 26, 2026 in Abilene, KS, at 1943 Indy Road. The event offers 12 hour, 24 hour, and 48 hour time-format races held on a certified 1.8228 mile paved loop in a private park. The loop is mostly shaded and fully paved.

Buckles are awarded each time a runner reaches designated cumulative distances. Multiple buckles may be earned, up to six in total.

Amenities and services listed for participants include free lodging included with the runner entry fee, heated showers, cabins, heated buildings, and RV hookups. Crew and family accommodations have separate rates. Pacers are permitted after 12 hours; muling is not allowed.

Deferral requests must be made up to 30 days before the event; approved deferrals are valid for one year only. All entrants receive a tri blend shirt; registering by April 1, 2026 guarantees a shirt. In addition to buckle awards, top female and top male finishers in each race receive overall awards.
