Dragon Trails 25K - 10K - 5K (Winter Edition)
The event is a winter trail race at Pearsall Park in San Antonio, Texas (4700 Old Pearsall Rd). It is organized as a set of trail events on natural terrain with rocks and steep hills. The course descriptions note significant climbing on each distance and marked routes with course signs and cones.
Participants should be prepared for rugged trail conditions and to carry personal supplies as needed. Aid stations with water and Gatorade are placed on course at roughly one mile intervals. A bag drop and post-race food are provided at the finish area.
Awards and finish items are specified by event. All finishers receive a race singlet and an event-specific finisher prize; the 25K and 10K receive finisher medals and the 5K receives a finisher tile with an easel. Official timing is provided by a race timing company and age-group awards are given in 10-year increments from 19 and under to 70 plus.
Packet pick-up is handled on race day at the event tent at Pearsall Park. Event staff, a DJ and announcer, and race photographers will be present to support the finish area and post-race activity. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
