A headlamp or flashlight is required for the initial portion of the race and is recommended for the final miles near the course cutoff; a marked box for light drop offs is at mile 5.4. Crew support is allowed only inside aid stations. Pacers are not permitted and may cause disqualification.
A heated Solo Finisher tent will offer hot soup, light snacks, changing rooms, and seating. The adjacent party tent provides pizza, beer, wine, soda, a DJ, and postrace contests.
