D&L RaceFest Marathon
Allentown, United States • 15 Nov 2026
D&L RaceFest presented by St. Luke's
D&L RaceFest takes place on November 15, 2026 and comprises four races that connect downtown Allentown and historic downtown Bethlehem with downtown Easton at the confluence of the Delaware and Lehigh Rivers. The events use much of the Delaware and Lehigh (D&L) Trail and run along the Lehigh River.
Distances offered include:
- 13.1 miles half marathon run, walk, or run/walk options
- 26.2 miles full marathon and marathon relay
The marathon follows a USATF-certified, Boston-qualifying point-to-point course with some miles in Little Lehigh Parkway. The trail features a gentle net elevation drop and surfaces of fine gravel and macadam or paved trail sections. The half marathon course likewise follows the D&L Trail and offers riverside views.
Participant requirements and limits are specified for each event. Minimum ages are 14 for half marathon entries and 18 for the marathon; relay participants must be over 10 and relay captains must be 18 or older. Time limits are set at 4.5 hours for half marathon categories and 6.5 hours for the marathon. Field limits are noted for 2026, including a 500-runner cap for the marathon and a cap for half marathon entries. Relay teams are five-person teams and are responsible for their own transportation to exchange points.
The event is presented by St. Luke's University Health Network. Proceeds benefit Delaware & Lehigh National Heritage Corridor Inc., supporting heritage and environmental programs and continued trail development. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
