Distances

  • 5.15 miles
  • 3.0 miles

Course GPS files and printable course maps are provided by the organizer. The presenting sponsor is Automation Direct.

Course and logistics

Both distances start on an asphalt drive near the playground and move into single-track and double-track trails. Terrain includes steep and rolling hills, technical sections with rocks and roots, dry creek crossings, and a ridgeline section. The 5.15-mile route follows a counter-clockwise loop with a longer ridgeline climb and a Tower Road crossing; the 3.0-mile route branches off earlier and rejoins the ridgeline descent. Overflow parking is available across Bettis Tribble Gap Road. No shuttle will be provided from the Nature Preserve Parking lot.

Registration, shirts and awards

Entry fees vary by distance and registration date; early, late, and race day tiers are listed for each distance. The event will offer a tri-blend shirt but cannot guarantee shirts for late or race day registrations. Awards include medals for top three male and female overall and masters, plus top three in standard age groups; winners must be present to receive medals. Walkers may participate but must complete the course at a 16-minute-per-mile pace or faster to receive an official time. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
