The Dirty Spokes Iron Hill trail run is scheduled for October 24, 2026 at Red Top Mountain State Park in Cartersville, Georgia. Course and logistics

The course is run in a clockwise direction. It uses single and double track trails and an old fire road bed. The race starts in the Iron Hill Trail parking area and soon leads into the woods. Georgia State Parks charges a $5 parking fee per car or entrants may use a yearly pass. Parking is limited.

Entry, shirts, and awards

Entry fees vary by distance and registration date: 7.5-mile fees are $45 through October 20, $50 on October 21-22, and $55 on race day; 3.8-mile fees are $40 through October 20, $45 on October 21-22, and $50 on race day. The event will offer a Super Soft tri-blend shirt in men's and women's sizes; shirts are not guaranteed for late or race-day registrants. Medals and prizes will be given to overall top three male and female finishers and overall masters, plus top three in age groups (14&U, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75&U). Medal recipients must be present to receive awards. Walkers may participate but must be able to complete the course at a 16-minute-per-mile pace or faster to receive an official time.
