Denali 100K
Cantwell, United States • 21-23 Jun 2026
Event overview
The Denali 100k is a point-to-point endurance race held on June 21, 2026 along the Denali Highway in Alaska. The course covers 100 km along gravel road between Alpine Creek Lodge (about mile 68) and the finish near Cantwell, adjacent to the entrance to Denali National Park. The field is limited to 50 runners and their crews and pacers. The maximum allowed time to complete the course is 18 hours. Finishers within the time limit receive a Denali100K belt buckle and a finishers shirt; overall men’s and women’s winners receive special awards.
Course and logistics
The route begins at Alpine Creek Lodge and heads west toward Cantwell. Racers and crews pass the Susitna River Bridge at mile 79.5. After leaving the Susitna River Valley there are no services or lodging for roughly 50 miles until the finish, so crews must plan supplies and support accordingly. Alpine Creek Lodge offers rooms, cabins, a restaurant and light supplies at the start area. The race takes place during long arctic daylight hours and runs with the Alaska Range and Denali as the scenic backdrop.
