Denali 100K
The Denali 100K is a 100 kilometer point to point endurance race held along the Denali Highway on June 21st, 2026. The course begins at Alpine Creek Lodge (mile 68) and finishes near Cantwell, sharing the same finish line used by the longer Denali event. The route passes the Susitna River Bridge at mile 79.5 and then continues through a long stretch without services or lodging for roughly 50 miles toward the finish. Panoramic views of the Alaska Range, surrounding glaciers, and Denali form the backdrop for the route. National Geographic named the Denali Highway one of the top ten most scenic roads in North America.
Entry is limited to 50 runners and their crew and pacers. Runners must be accompanied by a support vehicle and crew; one pacer at a time may run with a competitor and may run up to 30 miles. The race has an overall time limit of 18 hours. Applicants must show qualifying results: at least one 50K and two marathons completed within the previous two years, or otherwise demonstrate sufficient training. Qualifying race information must be submitted by the registration deadline.
Runners who finish within the allotted time receive a Denali100K belt buckle and finishers shirt; overall men’s and women’s winners receive special awards. A portion of each registration fee is donated to the Denali Education Center. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
