DC Peaks
DC Peaks organizes a series of trail ultramarathon races in Utah in October 2026. The event program includes a 100 mile race on October 2, 2026, and three distances on October 3, 2026: a 50 mile, a 55K, and a 25K. Starting locations are given for each distance within the Salt Lake City area.
Entry fees differ by race. The 100 mile entry fee is $299 and requires runners to have completed a 50 mile race between January 1, 2024 and their 2026 registration date. The 50 mile fee is $129 through December 25 and $189 after that date. The 55K fee is $129 and the 25K fee is $69.
Race directors have published a detailed course overview covering elevation, mileage, terrain, and aid station guidance. The event organizers also produce a podcast titled The Next Aid Station that discusses ultrarunning topics, gear, and race-day experiences. DC Peaks is an official Bear Tag partner; the first placing male and female in the DC Peaks 50 Mile will receive a comped entry into the 2026 Bear 100.
A 2024 race day included the 50 mile and 55K races. The organizers describe their mission as presenting an ultramarathon with notable climbs, descents, and scenic sections while fostering a community among participants. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
