Dawn of Time Fun Run

The Dawn of Time Fun Run™ is a family-friendly event held at the Lubbock Lake Landmark Interpretative Center. Participants can choose between a 5K or 3K distance, running or walking along a caliche gravel trail that starts and ends at the Interpretive Center. The course winds through Yellow House Draw and passes ongoing research excavation sites, offering a unique and scenic experience. The event encourages participants of all ages and abilities to enjoy the run or stroll at their own pace. Refreshments are provided, and registrants receive a complimentary event t-shirt, making it a fun and engaging outdoor activity for the community.
