Dark and Dirty Miles is a night trail race held at Twin Mountain Offroad Park near Kinta/Quinton, Oklahoma. All event distances use the same 5K loop, keeping runners close to the start/finish area. The trail contains runnable jeep roads mixed with technical sections and may include wet areas. Participants are expected to carry a headlamp for running after dark.

Ruck rules, support and logistics
The ruck division requires a minimum carried weight of 10 lb. Trekking poles and weighted vests are allowed; weight cannot include consumable or wearable items such as food, water, or clothing. Ruck finishers receive a finisher medal and a custom Velcro patch; there are no podium awards for ruck events. The race provides fully stocked aid stations, complimentary race photos by Mile 90, post-race meals, and a finisher buckle or medal plus a t-shirt with entry (register 8-10 weeks early to help ensure correct shirt sizing). Packet pickup occurs at the start/finish on race day.
Rules and safety
Runners must not litter or stash supplies along the course. Any runner who drops out must notify the nearest aid station or race management. Accepting a ride removes a runner from the race. Dogs are allowed but must be leashed. Pacers are permitted for the 50K after five loops. Local EMS will be used for medical emergencies; participants are responsible for monitoring their own physical and mental readiness. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
