Race format, divisions and logistics

A ruck division is offered with a 10 lb minimum pack weight; trekking poles and weighted vests are allowed, but weight cannot include consumable or wearable items. Ruck finishers receive a finisher medal and a custom Velcro patch; no podium awards are given for ruck divisions. Pacers are allowed for the 50K after five loops. Drop bags may be left at the start/finish area. The official cutoff for all events is 7:00 AM. Dogs are allowed on leash. Runners are expected to follow race management directions, avoid littering, and notify aid stations if they withdraw. Runners who accept a ride are considered out of the race and may not re-enter.
