Outlaw 100 Oklahoma
Outlaw 100 Oklahoma is held at Twin Mountains in Kinta, Oklahoma. The core course is a 13 mile loop that includes rocky climbs, creek crossings, runnable jeep roads, steep powerline ascents, and a historic stagecoach road. Each 13 mile loop has over 2,000 feet of elevation gain and the course sits at roughly 1,000 feet altitude. Water crossings may be wet depending on pre race rainfall.
Distances and event formats include:
- Outlaw 135
- Outlaw 100, 13 mile loop repeated eight times
- 50 Mile, approximately 52 miles (four loops)
- Marathon, two loops
- Half marathon, one 13.1 mile loop
- 5K events on Saturday and Sunday
- 4 Mile Friday run
- 100 mile relays and ruck relays
A Triple option spans three days with a short run on Friday, a main Saturday distance choice, and a 5K on Sunday; finishers in the Triple receive a shirt, a hoodie, and a cowboy hat as described by the organizer.
A ruck division is offered with simple guidelines: a 10 lb minimum load, trekking poles allowed, no consumables or clothing counted toward required weight, weighted vests allowed, and no podium awards though finishers receive a medal and a custom Velcro patch.
Pacing and crew rules: pacers are permitted after 50 miles for the 100 and 135; crew access is at the start and finish; runners must label and retrieve drop bags. Registration policies include no cash refunds, future race credit valid two years, and tiered credit amounts based on how far in advance a withdrawal is made. Camping at Twin Mountains is available for 20 dollars a night; nearby towns include Wilburton and McAlester and the closest major airport is Tulsa International Airport.
Participants are responsible for their own safety. Local EMS will be used for medical emergencies. Key race rules require no littering, no stashing supplies on course, immediate notification of aid stations if withdrawing, and that accepting a ride removes a runner from competition. Animals must be leashed and race management decisions are final. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
