Course and rules

The course uses trails that ascend and descend rocky terrain along the lake shore. Most of the trail system runs through trees, with some exposed sections. Runners will climb several peaks with views of the lake. All participants must carry a hydration device, such as a water bottle or hydration bladder. The cutoff time for the 60K is 14 hours.

Logistics and policies

The park is closed for the season but will be opened for runners and volunteers for this event. Park entry is $5 per car. Primitive car and tent camping are allowed. A volunteer program offers race credits usable for future events; credits can be earned or transferred from a volunteering family member. Cancellation policy: more than 30 days before race day yields 100% race credit; between 30 days and two weeks yields 50% race credit; no refunds or transfers are allowed less than two weeks before race day.
