Crimson Canyons Ultra
Crimson Canyons Ultra is a trail race near Richfield, Utah on the Pahvant Range, scheduled for Saturday, September 19, 2026. The event uses single-track mountain bike trails, bike ride lines, gravel streambeds and sections of the Paiute ATV Trail system. Permission from Fishlake National Forest enables use of the terrain.
Distances:
- 60 km (38.3 miles): summit White Pine Peak then descend full Spinal Tap Trail
- 21 km (half marathon): climbs four bike trails and runs Cottonwood Canyon rim
- 10 km: up Big Red and Faulty, down Cairn-age and Tank Run trails
Elevation gains and time limits for 2026 are published for each distance: 60 km - 6,980 feet (2100 m) with a 15 hour limit; 21 km - 2,370 feet (722 m) with an 8 hour limit; 10 km - 1,226 feet (374 m) with a 4 hour limit. The 60 km route includes a summit at White Pine Peak at 10,200 feet and an 18-mile descent on Spinal Tap Trail.
The Pahvant Mountain Bike Trail System provides over 100 miles of single track created between 2019 and 2022.
