Crane Broiler Festival Chicken Chase 5K

The Crane Broiler Festival Chicken Chase includes a five kilometer trail run and a one mile run or walk in downtown Crane, Missouri. The five kilometer course follows the city public trail system and is mostly smooth gravel. The one mile course is primarily on paved surfaces with a very short gravel portion and is suitable for strollers.

This event is hosted by Discover Crane, a nonprofit organization. Proceeds from the event will be donated to the Crane City Pool. Race packets and T-shirts are available for pickup on the Friday of the Broiler Festival or on the morning of the event. To guarantee a t-shirt, registration must be completed by August 2.

Entry fees are listed by category: $25 for adults with a t-shirt, $10 for youth ages 7 to 15 without a t-shirt, free for children 6 and under, and $15 for t-shirt only. Awards include overall male and female winners and one male and one female prize for each age class. No awards are given for the one mile walk. The event takes place on the day of the Crane Broiler Festival, which also features a parade and craft and vendor booths later that day.
