The Cotter Bridge Ultra is a timed lap event held at Big Spring Park on the White River in Cotter, Arkansas. The format uses a repeated lap of 4.1667 miles. Each lap must be completed within 59 minutes and 59 seconds; laps repeat until a runner's selected time event concludes.

The course is a 2.08 mile out-and-back that follows the river. It is mostly flat, on a soft surface about 8 to 10 feet wide, and composed mainly of fine gravel. The route has no complex turns and runs alongside the White River.
