David's Trail Endurance Run

Event Overview

The David's Trail Endurance Run takes place in Mountain Home, Arkansas, featuring a course that traverses the Ozarks along Lake Norfork. The event utilizes a combination of single-track and double-track trails. Participants in the longest distance encounter approximately 5,000 feet of elevation change throughout the route. The event is held regardless of weather conditions, including rain, sun, sleet, or snow.

The race adheres to the American Trail Running Association (ATRA) Event Standards. As part of a sustainability initiative, the event is cupless. Participants are required to bring their own hand-held bottles or containers for use at aid stations and after the race. Additionally, for the post-race meal, attendees must provide their own plates, cups, and utensils to reduce waste.

Distances

• 50K: A trail race featuring nearly 5,000 feet of elevation change.
• 25K: A trail race on a course consisting of mixed track types.

The event base is located at the Rocking Chair Resort, which serves as the hub for packet pickup and post-race activities. Cash prizes are awarded to the top male and female finishers who break an established course record.
