Cookie Plug Race 5K/10K - Evansville

The Cookie Plug Race is scheduled for April 11, 2026 in Garvin Park, Evansville, Indiana. The event includes two distance options and is centered on an out and back course that primarily uses the Greenway Passage. Participants who plan to walk the entire route are asked to choose the shorter distance.

Registration prices are tiered: $35 until January 31, $40 until March 15, and $45 through race day; a medal only option reduces the fee by $5. All sales are final and shirts or medals are not guaranteed after race day unless prior arrangements are made before race start. Early shirt and bib pick up is available at Cookie Plug on April 10 from 5:00 to 6:00 pm. Check in at Garvin Park is available the morning of the event for those who did not attend early pick up.

Awards include overall male and female and runner up for each distance, plus top three male and female in age groups 13 and under, 14-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, and 80 plus. Timing is provided by To the Finish Timing. The race proceeds in rain or shine and partial proceeds benefit the Evansville Parks Department.
