Course, format and logistics

The course is a flat, paved loop of 2.05 miles along the West Williamson flood wall and the college grounds. When a participant for the 47-hour or 35-hour events reaches 50 miles crossing the timing mat, they may reverse direction for subsequent laps. Timing is by ankle bracelet timing tags; participants must wear the bracelet on the right leg at all times and exchange it between relay teammates to count team laps. Rucking is offered with a required ruck weight of 25 lb; rucks are weighed before the race, every 6 hours, and after the race. Aid and amenities include water, Gatorade, pickle juice, Pedialyte, a staffed aid station with food options (hot meals, snacks, vegan choices), portable toilets, on-site camping and limited indoor cot lodging, and on-campus Wi-Fi.
