Event overview
Conquer The Summit is a community running event held each March in the Adelaide Hills at Mt Barker. The event was first held in 2012. The 2026 edition is scheduled for Sunday, 22 March 2026. The main purpose is to raise funds for Operation Flinders and other charities that support local youth. The event is a major fundraiser for the Mt Barker Lions and Rotary Clubs.

- 21.1 km half-marathon
- 10.55 km quarter-marathon
- 5 km run
- Kids' Dash - untimed two-lap oval for U/12s
The event begins at the Summit Sport and Recreation Park. The route runs through surrounding rural areas and follows a mix of roadside, fire track, vineyard and trail up to the top of Mt Barker Summit.
Registration, bib collection and volunteers
Early bird registrations open 1 November 2025. Online registrations close midnight Sunday 15 March 2026. Registering by midnight Sunday 1 March may reduce the entry fee and allow a first name on the race bib. Registering by midnight 31 December 2025 enters a draw for a $250 voucher. Bib collection and late registration are available on 19 March 2026 at Beyond Bank Prospect, 20 March 2026 at Beyond Bank Mt Barker, and 21 March 2026 at The Athlete's Foot Mt Barker.
