Colterris Wine Run 5k
The Colterris Wine Run 5k is a chip-timed 5k run and walk held on May 8, 2027 at Colterris Winery in Palisade, Colorado (3907 N River Rd). The course is two laps and follows a cross country style route with some areas of uneven footing; it is open to both runners and walkers.
Race registration includes a super soft ring spun cotton T-shirt, a shatterproof collapsible portable wine glass, a finisher medal, a race bib with chip timing, results posted online, and a pour of wine for eligible participants. Packet pickup is available the day before at The Colterris Collections & Tasting Room (3708 G Rd, Palisade, CO), and pickup is also offered on the day of the event at the venue.
The event partners with RiversEdge West, a local nonprofit that focuses on restoring riverside ecosystems, connecting youth to rivers through education, supporting volunteer stewardship, and training restoration professionals. The race offers age group awards for the top three finishers in each of ten-year categories, from 19 and under through 80 and over. Competitors aiming for awards should follow the event’s start procedures; awards are available for pickup the day of the event.
Additional event notes: minors may participate with a discounted registration but do not receive a wine glass or pour, strollers are allowed though not recommended due to uneven ground, walking is permitted, and dogs are not allowed on site.
