Grand Mesa Ultras

This trail running event takes place on the Grand Mesa in Colorado, described as the world's largest flat-topped mountain, with an average elevation over 10,000 feet. The event offers three race distances: 50 Miler, 55K, and 30K. The courses involve mountain running on trails, described as having rocky, technical climbs and fast, flowing forest single track. The setting features alpine meadows, wildflowers, lakes, and streams.

Accommodation options for the weekend include various forms of camping on the mountain, such as cabin rentals, established campgrounds, remote forest camping, or car camping in the race parking lot.

Post-race activities include a burger cookout and beer from Ska Brewing. Participants receive t-shirts. There are cash prizes for the top three male and female finishers, with an additional bonus for course records. Custom finisher awards are given to the top three and masters winners. An awesome post-race raffle is also held.

The event is scheduled for Saturday, July 25, 2026. Registration information is available on an external website. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
