The Cloudland Canyon Trail Run by Run Bum Races is held at Cloudland Canyon State Park in Rising Fawn, Georgia. The event offers several distances: 50 Miler, 50K, 25K, and 5 Miler.

Course Details

The races are designed to be scenic and fun. The 5 Miler route is described as a lollipop with roughly 600 ft of elevation gain. The 50K consists of a 14-mile loop and a lollipop section, featuring rolling hills with some climbs between 200-500 ft and a descent into the canyon and back. The 50 Miler covers the 50K course with an additional lollipop section. The 25K is a lollipop route that includes the canyon descent and ascent. Reported total elevation gain is approximately 7500 ft for the 50 mile, 4500 ft for the 50k, 2900 ft for the 25k, and 500 ft for the 5 mile. The course passes waterfalls and offers open views.

Cutoffs and Registration

There are cutoff times for each distance: 15.5 hours for the 50 miler, 11 hours for the 50k, 5.5 hours for the 25k, and 1.5 hours for the 5 miler. Registration includes a beanie or hat and a finisher's pint glass. Participants in the 50 Mile, 50K, and 25K also receive a finisher medal if registered by a specified date.
