Cloudland Canyon Trail Races
Cloudland Canyon Trail Races take place December 5–6, 2026 at Cloudland Canyon State Park in Rising Fawn, GA. The event is organized by Run Bum and includes multiple trail distances that use park trails and canyon terrain.
Distances:
- 50 Mile: 7500 ft gain, cutoff 15.5 hours.
- 50K: 4500 ft gain, cutoff 11 hours.
- 25K: 2900 ft gain, cutoff 5.5 hours.
- 5 Mile: about 600 ft gain, cutoff 1.5 hours.
Course notes: the 50K consists of a single 14-loop with a lollipop section; the 50 Mile uses the 50K course plus an additional lollipop loop. The 25K follows much of the same terrain in a shorter format. Trails include rolling hills, several climbs of 200–500 ft, a plunge to the canyon bottom and climbs back up, plus views of waterfalls and open valley horizons.
Entries and goods: registration closes December 4 at 11:59 PM ET. All registrants receive a pint glass; 50 Mile, 50K and 25K finishers receive medals. To be guaranteed a pint glass or medal, registration must be completed by November 1.
