Course and race rules

The course starts at the North Fork Trailhead parking lot (boat ramp). The route consists of three loops of approximately 10 miles each through forest, hills, and meadows. The trail is almost entirely single-track with a short section on road and a bridge that connects the loop around the lake. Each loop has about 1,500 feet of elevation gain. There are two fully stocked aid stations on each loop.

Volunteer participation is mandatory; organizers expect volunteers to either assist at races or perform trail work, and a form will be provided near race day for reporting volunteer activity. Runners are asked to carry their own drink vessel; there are no cups at aid stations. Pacers and early starts are not permitted. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
