Course, aid stations and logistics
Courses use trails in Chino Hills State Park and are described as well-marked. There are multiple aid stations and a drop-bag location:
- Telegraph Canyon / Little Canyon: water-only station; 30K at 4.5 and 15.25 miles; 50K at 4.5 and 27.5 miles.
- 4-Corners (mid-station): 30K at 7.5 and 13 miles; 50K at 7.5 and 24 miles; course routing differs after this station for each distance.
- Bane Canyon (drop-bag): 30K turnaround at 10.25 miles; 50K passes here three times (at about 10.25, 16.5 and 21 miles) with specified route directions between passes.
Parking is at the Discovery Center lot with a $10 parking fee. When that lot fills, parking directions include Carbon Canyon Regional Park (far east lot, $5 entry) and Olinda Ranch Park (no fee, about a 1 mile walk to the start).
