Catamount Weekly Trail Running Race
The Catamount weekly trail running series takes place at the Catamount Outdoor Family Center in Williston, VT. The event offers multiple short trail distances and separate adult and youth entry categories. Registration is available online with a stated deadline on the event date.
Distances include:
- 2.5 km Half Lap
- 5 km
- 10 km
Adult entries are listed at $20 and youth entries at $15. Youth participants must be under 18 or present a valid student ID. Bibs are issued each week at check-in and single night entry bibs should not be reused; bibs must be visible during the race. Bib pickup is available in the afternoon before race night.
Races are held rain or shine. Weather delays or cancellations will be posted by 4:00pm on the event Facebook page. The thunder policy specifies a 30 minute delay if thunder occurs between 5:30 and 5:45pm, and cancellation if thunder occurs after 5:45pm or during the race. If a race is canceled for weather, a single night entry may be transferred to another week by contacting the organizer.
On race nights participants are asked to check in at the tent if they start but do not finish so organizers can confirm safety. A water refill station is available near the bike wash.
