Catamount Weekly Trail Running Race : Catamount Outdoor Family Center
This event is part of a weekly trail running series hosted by the Catamount Outdoor Family Center in Williston, VT. The series includes short trail distances and a separate Cubbies category for children ages 5 and under. Available course distances include:
- 2.5 km (Half Lap)
- 5 km
Races are held rain or shine. If delays or cancellations are necessary, organizers post updates by 4:00 pm on their Facebook page. If a race is canceled for weather, a single-night entry may be transferred to another week by emailing the organizer.
A thunder policy applies: thunder between 5:30-5:45 pm triggers a 30-minute delay; thunder after 5:45 pm or during a race results in cancellation.
On race nights, bib pickup is available from 3:00-5:45 pm and bibs are required and must be visible during the event. Single-night bibs must not be reused; new bib numbers are assigned each week at check-in. Participants who start but do not finish should check in at the tent so organizers can confirm safety. A water refill station is available near the bike wash.
