The Castle2Castle #Ultra is an ultra-distance running event scheduled for Saturday 28th February 2026. The event starts in the grounds of the Powis Estate in Welshpool and finishes at Caffi Wylfa in Chirk.

The route covers a distance of 32 miles and is described as a blend of flat, fast paths and undulating public footpaths, offering views along the way. It is open to a range of participants, from those attempting the ultra distance for the first time to more experienced ultra runners. The minimum age to participate is 20 years old.

An optional shuttle bus service is available from Chirk to the start area for a fee, allowing participants to park near the finish line. On-site parking is also available near the start in Welshpool town centre.
