Cannonball Crush at Fort Henry

Cannonball Crush is a 5K obstacle course race held on the historic grounds of Fort Henry in Kingston. The route features more than 20 modern and historically themed obstacles including climbing, crawling, jumping and sliding. Two water stations are positioned along the course; a refill station is available at the start and water and granola bars are provided at the finish.

The event is open to anyone aged 13 and older. Registration is online only and day of race registration is not available. Participants may compete solo or as part of a team; teams must have at least four runners and team awards are calculated using the average time of the top four team members. Three heat categories are offered: Teen 13-17, Adult 18+ and Open 13+.

The event runs rain or shine and is non refundable; registrations may be transferred to another individual before May 29, 2026. Fort Henry provides free main lot parking including accessible spaces, and accessible restrooms and pathways. Running shoes are required and participants should expect to get wet and muddy. Spectators are welcome at the start and finish areas and leashed dogs are permitted outside the fort interior. Results are chip timed and viewable via onsite QR code and online after the event.
