Cannonball Crush

Cannonball Crush is a 5K obstacle course race at Fort Henry in Kingston on June 13, 2026. The course includes more than 20 modern and historically themed obstacles that involve climbing, crawling, jumping and sliding. Participants should expect wet and muddy conditions. Running shoes are required and costumes are encouraged. No bag check is available.

Registration is online only; day of registration is not available. The event is open to anyone aged 13 and older. Competitors may race solo or as part of a team. Teams must have a minimum of four runners; team awards are calculated using the average time of the top four runners. Heats are organized as Teen Heats (13–17), Adult Heats (18+) and Open Heats (13+). The event is rain or shine and non-refundable; registrations may be transferred to another individual before May 29, 2026, and unused race kits may be collected after race day.

On race day, check-in is inside the Great Hall. The venue provides free and accessible parking near the Great Hall, washrooms at the start and finish areas, two water stations along the route and a refill station at the start. Complimentary water and granola bars are available at the finish. Results are chip timed and viewable via onsite QR signage and online after the event. Prizes are awarded in overall and age categories. Volunteers are needed in roles such as obstacle attendants and traffic marshals; volunteers receive YGK Craft Beer Fest admission and Cannonball Crush swag.
