Caloosa Fest

Caloosa Fest, Alva, Florida

Caloosa Fest is a trail running event held at the Caloosahatchee Regional Park mountain bike trails in Alva, Florida. The program includes two race distances and on-site vendors and demos during the morning.

• 5K Trail Race
• Half Marathon Trail Race

The 5K follows a scenic loop on green trails with a mix of grass, hard-packed trail, and mild single track. The Half Marathon uses long perimeter trail sections, open grass areas, winding single track, and some technical segments. A main aid station is located at the start and finish area and on-course aid with water and electrolyte tabs is provided at miles 3 and 9. Half Marathon runners are required to carry a hydration system such as a handheld, vest, or bottle.

Awards are given for the top three male and female overall in each race, and all participants receive a finisher medal. Packet pickup is offered the evening before at Fleet Feet Fort Myers, 13499 S Cleveland Ave, Ste 209, Fort Myers, FL, and race day packet pickup is also available. The start/finish area provides space for canopy tents and crew support. Parking is inside the Mountain Bike Park on grass and staff will direct arrivals.
