The Caloosa Fest Ultra takes place on December 6, 2025, at Caloosahatchee Regional Park in Alva, FL. The event includes multiple race distances:

  • 50K
  • 25K
  • 5K

This is the ninth running of the festival-style event.

Course and logistics

The ultra races use an 11.1 mile loop on varying terrain, including rolling hills and some technical stretches. The course runs along the park perimeter on the Green, Black and Blue trails. The 25K follows one full loop plus a half loop; the 50K consists of three full loops. Course maps are provided for the full loop and the half loop.

There are two main aid stations and a mini aid station at the Far East entrance. The main aid station is stocked with water, Tailwind electrolyte drink, fruit, snacks and sunscreen. The race is cupless; organizers provide a flexible folding race cup. All 25K and 50K participants must carry a hydration system. Packet pickup is available at a local Fleet Feet store before the event and at the park on race day. The park has a no alcohol and no dogs policy. Join the Turtle Trot at Lovers Key State Park on April 18, 2026 for a scenic 5K through maritime hammocks, coastal dunes and mangroves, finishing by the Gulf. Enjoy wildlife sightings while supporting Friends of Lovers Key.
