The Caloosa Fest 5K is scheduled for Saturday, December 6, 2025, at Caloosahatchee Regional Park (Mountain Bike Park) in Alva, FL (18251 N River Rd, Alva, FL 33920). The event is a day-long festival that includes ultra trail races and a 5K trail run. Vendors and product demos are planned on site. All 5K participants receive a finishers medal; awards are given to the top three male and female finishers for both the morning and nighttime 5K categories.
Courses and logistics
The event offers trail race courses with looped formats for the longer distances. The 25K course is one full loop plus a half loop; the 50K course is three full loops. Aid stations for the 25K and 50K include a main station stocked with water, Tailwind, fruit, snacks, sunscreen and related items, and a mini station with water, electrolyte tabs and limited snacks. This will be a cupless race; participants will be provided with a flexible folding race day cup. All 25K and 50K entrants must carry a hydration system. Parking is on grass inside the Mountain Bike Park, with a dedicated space near the start and finish for canopy tents used for crewing; vehicles will be parked away from the start and finish area.
