The Burney Mountain 100 is a 100-mile endurance run in Cassel, California. The looped course starts and finishes at Burney Mountain Guest Ranch and passes through Lassen National Forest, the Thousand Lakes Wilderness, and the Burney Basin. The course includes a cumulative 15,000 feet of elevation change and offers views of Mount Lassen, Mount Shasta, the Hat Creek Rim, and nearby lava flows.
Registration closes on Tue, Jun 16 at 11:59 PM PT. The event has a no-refund policy. Registration may be deferred for any reason up to one week before race day, and registration transfers are allowed until one day before the race.
Course, support and facilities
Terrain varies from rocky ridgelines to lush forest floors and sections above the tree line. Course maps are available on Gaia and Caltopo. A runner's guide provides details on aid stations, drop bags, crew, and pacers. A post-race meal is provided for runners; the ranch restaurant will be open for crew and pacers.
All runners and crew have dry camping at Burney Mountain Guest Ranch for Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights, with costs covered by Intermountain Endurance.
