The Buffalo Stampede Festival is a series of sky running and trail running events held in Bright and Mount Buffalo, Victoria. The 2026 festival takes place 27-29 March at Pioneer Park Recreation Reserve, 64/72 Coronation Ave, Bright VIC 3741. The event is produced by SingleTrack Events and typically draws over 3,000 trail runners from Australia and overseas. Course terrain includes national park sections and mountain-top running; the 100 km course spends 60 km in the National Park and 30 km on the top of Mount Buffalo. Take on the Mt Bogong Conquestathon, a single day hike or run around Victoria's highest peak with a challenging 21 km loop and 1,410 m of climb. Limited to 300 spots, the community event supports Birkebeiner Search and Rescue.
