About the race
Razorback Run is an alpine trail running event held from the Harrietville event village in Victoria. The event offers three courses that run across mountain terrain and include substantial elevation gain, remote sections, and limited aid.
Distances:
- 62 km Ultra, 3420 m elevation gain, remote unmarked course, limited checkpoints
- 37 km The Good Loop, 2000 m elevation gain, unmarked course with limited checkpoints
- 22 km Razorback Ridge, 850 m elevation gain, starts and finishes at the Razorback Track Trailhead
The 62 km and 37 km courses require participants to navigate with GPX or maps; the organiser may request proof of ability for the 62 km and refuse entry if necessary. Age limits apply: entrants must be at least 18 years old for the 62 km and 37 km, and at least 16 years old for the 22 km. Cut-off times are published for each course and there are specific aid or water points noted on each route, including a water point at The Cross and a Diamantina Hut checkpoint on the longer courses.
Parking information notes limited parking at the 22 km start and mentions an alternative parking area approximately 1.8 km from the start with toilet facilities. Course GPX files and course notes are provided for navigation. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
