Bop to the Top Stair Climb takes place on Saturday, January 17, 2026 in Indianapolis, IN at the OneAmerica Tower, 200 N. Illinois Street. The event is the 43rd annual stair climb and benefits Riley Children's Foundation. Since 1984, the event has raised nearly $1 million for the foundation. The event is open to all ages.

Participants who finish receive a long-sleeve shirt. Shirts are guaranteed for those who register by Thursday, January 8, 2026 at 11:59pm.

Format and categories

The event offers three competition options: Single Climb, Triple Step (three climbs with times added), and a 4-person Team (each person climbs once). Triple Step entrants have their three climb times summed; elevator rides down and rest time between climbs are not included in the total time. Triple Step entrants are not eligible for Single Climb or Team awards. Awards are given for overall winners, age groups, teams, and top fundraiser. Team categories include Open, Family, Co-Ed, All-Female, and Fire Fighters.
