Event overview

The Bohemian Alps Endurance Run Half Marathon is scheduled for October 18, 2025 in Brainard, Nebraska. This is the 42nd annual running of the event. The start and finish are at 213 Madison Street in downtown Brainard. Registration closes Wednesday, Oct 15 at 11:59 PM CT; race day registration is welcome.

Distances and key details

• Half Marathon - scenic, hilly loop on gravel and dirt roads with mixed surfaces.
• Bohemian Alps 4 Mile Run - scenic, hilly; mostly gravel and dirt roads, 1 mile pavement.
• Bohemian Alps Kids Mile - 1 mile of pavement.

Fees and included items: the Half Marathon entry is $80, the 4 Mile Run is $60, and the Kids Mile is $25. The Half Marathon course includes about 1 mile of bike trail and 2 miles of off-road cross-country; water stops are provided every 3-4 miles. T-shirts are provided to entrants; medals are given to finishers of the Half Marathon and 4 Mile Run; ribbons are given to Kids Mile finishers. Showers are available. A post-race barbecue for entrants follows the races and post-race popsicles are provided after the Kids Mile. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
